Pre-Xmas visit from Tamara and Nathaniel

We had a lovely afternoon visit from friends, Tamara and Nathaniel and their two kids, Milla and Otis on the Sunday before Xmas. Tamara was one of my first PhD students at Newcastle - in fact I taught Tamara when she was an undergraduate at the Ourimbah campus in the early 90s and then supervised her honours thesis before then supervising her PhD.  It was quite a hot afternoon so we decided to set up a table under the shade outside and have our first garden party.
I had picked up Malte, who is a HelpXer from Germany, the day before, and this was the first of many social times he has had (and enjoyed) with our friends over the Xmas and New Year period. So from left, Nathaniel, Malte, Milla, Otis, Tamara and Steve.
