Different Sorts of Orange

Our mandarins are copping a hiding from the noisy miners that literally eat them while they are hanging on the tree. We've saved a few - they are quite OK but they have a bit of a bitter after-taste.
This orange trumpet vine breaks out in a riot of colour which adds a tremendous vibrancy to winter. It grows along the fence we share with our neighbour, Marissabelle, whos is an 83year old woman who has lived in her place for 25 years or so. She is staying with her daughter up at the Gold Coast over winter.

Today was another beautiful day and just as the sun statred sinking it cast this wonderful golden orange over the Billen Cliffs.

The sunset became even more spectacular wihth the sky filling with orange, pink, golds just as the sun disappeared.
