The Northern Rivers is so creative and artistic, I love it. So there's a guy who goes around and creates art around pot holes in the roads. The art serves to make the roads a more creative space as well as drawing attention to potholes that could create problems for your car. He has done all the roads in the Lismore area and lately he has worked his way to the Kyogle district. There are donation boxes along streets in Lismore where you can donate money to help pay for his petrol and paint expenses. Lordie, I love living here!

That's so fantastic! If he ever wants to have a holiday he could come to Orange and be busy for months.
Whoever does this wonderful work ... (s)he is saving the lives of motorcyclists, who would probably come to grief on these dangerous potholes.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. The guy who used to save our cars with his art was known locally as pothole Pete. He was hit by a falling tree branch and killed on Friday 7/8/2020. He will be sorely missed
He was my nextdoor neigbour, and yes like the previous comment said, he died on friday night when a 'pest species' palm tree he was cutting down hit him. They are very heavy trees. He was an icon of our Koonorigan community and we are all devastated.
