Army Worm Onslaught

Our lawns are being attacked by a troupe of army worm which is doing its spineless best to destroy the grass - but leaving the weeds intact. One of my colleagues, Diana, also has the pest invading her lawns. I don't really want to use insecticides so if anyone has any non-chemical based suggestions, please let me know.

Is that the same as grass grubs? We get those- although not quite so barren. I haven't found a way to get rid of them either.

We call them 'lawn grubs'. Don't panic. Your lawn will recover. Don't spray chemicals. There are natural fertilisers + neem oil that will help: best drop by our nursery and the boys (Baz and Taz) will help you (I can ask them if you like). Also, your hens can help out too by eating the grubs if you bring them to the surface. More at the links below.
